A friend of mine has been experiencing bouts of dizziness for months now and after seeing multiple doctors it is believed to be something involved with the inner-ear although it is still not completely certain. He went in for an MRI recently and the doctor said the MRI was showing that he at some point had a Spinal Tap but he never actually had one. What could this mean? I have searched all over for spinal tap results showing up falsely on an MRI but came back with nothing. Thank You!

White lesions on brain MRI, but spinal tap is negative for MS. I did have double vision for 3 month?
