Can Hydrocodone give a false positive for PCP in a urine test?
I highly doubt it. If it was a drug test from work, pre employment, random, you have the right for a retest and a review of the results. On the paper you should have gotten, lists the doctor who determined the findings. Call and ask him this question you posted. If anything, and you know for a fact PCP shouldn't be there, DEMAND a redo! Or ask if they can do a more precise test, i.e. hair follicle. Good luck to you on getting an accurate test!
No, that shouldn't have given a false reading for PCP. Drug tests are not infallible and if this happened to you, ask to take another test from a different batch and/or offer a hair sample. My drug counselor said that if she determined that a drug test was wrong ( by running one from the same batch on herself and getting a wacky result ) she knew the whole batch was bad. It does happen more frequently than you would think.
