I take Ambien for insomnia, and I suffer from ADHD so I take Adderall & I have been experiencing extreme panic/anxiety attacks since I was 13 yrs.old. Im now 40. I need help with a good benzo for my panic attacks as I have tried everything else under the sun to try to ease these episodes for me. I have found it hard to find a Dr. That will prescribe me a benzo for this. I dont know why but I could sure use some good insight here and possibly get some info on some Dr.s someone might know that I might go see myself. Thanx in advance... :-) Deena

Have you ever tried buspar? Or an antidepressant? Doctors are facing trouble with the Dea if they prescribe controlled meds. The worst thing you can do is walk into a doctors office and ask for one. Get a psychiatrist. You can tell him what you've tried that didn't work. Don't ask for a benzo tho.
Hello. If you are not depressed please don't take medication for depression, are you just going to your family doctor or a specialist?, out of the 3 medications you listed not a one of them are for anxiety, Prozac is for depression it doesn't help in anxiety, your ADHD medicine is just for that, and your other is for sleeping, you need a medication for ANXIETY and only treats anxiety, there is a big difference between depression and anxiety, I have no depression, only anxiety, and my doctor only treats the anxiety with medication just for that. Now I take 1mg of klopion 3 times a day, but most of the time I just need to take 1mg a day. Everyone is different, but I would make it clear to your doctor that you MUST have something that treats anxiety. And only anxiety. And if your doctor doesn't listen to you. Go find a doctor that will. God bless you
I am pretty much with sherry here, What you are not seeing is some of the depression/Anxiety pills can help more together because the symptoms overlap in many ways all you can really do is talk with your doctor But with many of the medications you have listed the doctor may want to find something else due to Interactions so please get in as soon as you can.
