What what else can I take to alleviate the pain in my shoulder and muscle part of my arm?
I am going to assume that u are taking Neurontin for nerve pain. So, in assuming this, based on my own experience, I think the amount should be increased as soon as possible and continue to be increased until the nerve pain is suppressed. Don't let ur doc drag his or her feet on this. There is no reason for u to be in pain if all it takes is an increase in mg's. I began at 300mg/day and moved up to 3500/day. This was taken for sharp sparks of nerve pain that occurred throughout my body. I had no side effects and over the years required med dropped to zero. Now, as an aside, for the burning/tingling type of nerve pain, I accidentally discovered that Valium worked extremely well in suppressing this pain; Neurontin did not help reduce the burning/tingling pain. So, depending on the type of nerve pain or mixed types of nerve pain, I came up with the following combos: 1) Neurontin and medical marijuana 2) Neurontin and Valium. The doc will only tell u about Neurontin. Hang in there.
