I am at the point to start treating the basil cell cancer on my lip with Fluorouracil Cream 5% for three weeks. I am looking for someone to share their experience of how to go through the pain? How long will it take to get back to normal? Will it leave a scar or a trace and is it possible to use a lipstick after that? I am also looking for the cream to protect my very fair skin from the sun. Neutrogena SPF 60 for kids - did not work at all and made me look as if I put my face in a baking flour.
Who had experience with applying Fluorouracil Cream 5% on a lip?

Yesterday was my last of a 2-week treatment, 2x a day on my face. I cannot go outside, I look like a monster. My face is all puffed up, sores and lesions, but I think that's what it's supposed to be like. Days 11 & 12 I could put makeup over it and it wasn't too noticeable, today I can barely touch my face. I'm looking to see who might have a remedy. I'm slathered in Vaseline right now, nothing else seems too be comfortable. I barely slept at all last night. I'd be curious to know how long it will take to heal.
