I have two of the same exact pill same printings, same shape and size , same in which color is green but different shades!? One is a darker green and one is lighter is this ok? Ive also had the same issue before with two pink pills.. Same everything but one was a darker pink and one was a lighter pink? Why is this and has it happened to anyone else? Is this normal?
You should probably look at the bigger picture. Each batch is probably a metric tonne (~2200lbs) and may well have just different amounts of dye in them. Pigment style dyes can be susceptible to sunlight and fade while in light or respond to different temperatures. For all we know there might be some person who chucks in half a bucket full of a dye just before final drying and compression in the pill press and does it by eye.
Yes color shades do very but as long as the markings are the same that is all that matters. It's just a different batch mixed together If you have to ask this or something close it would be nice if we knew what the drug is and the numbers so we could double check for you but as long as your saying all the markings are the same you have nothing to worry about. They really don't work that hard on the blend of color all the time.
