... recently. I completely forgot to take my patch off on my patch change day to start my patch free week. I took this off the next day, so the patch had been on for an extra 24 hours into what was supposed to be my patch free week. I usually get my bleed after 3 days for 5-6 days. Will the 24 hours delay my period? So is it likely I will get my period 3 days after I took the patch off, so 1 day later than normal? Is it likely to be any longer than normal?. I will still apply my patch on my regular patch change day. Does it make any difference to the length of your period or protection if you only have a 6 days patch free instead of 7?. My period usually ends within 2 days after applying my patch so im worried I will keep bleeding…
You are way over thinking this and confusing the heck out of me. Put the patch back on on the regular day. That extra day it was on was the first day since you probably weren't getting as much hormone then. Its ok to have them less then 7 days apart but not more then that. There is no written law that says when you have your period. It can be any time during the time off, but do not worry if you still have it when its time to put the patch back on. Just put it on. As long as you use the patch correctly, 3 weeks on 1 week off you are protected. Your period has nothing to do with your protection.
