Details:
I started Low iodine diet since March 12th until April 1st. Then I was lucky that Thyrogen was made available last week. I get a Thyrogen shot March 26 and 27th. Then Rai (Radioactive Iodine treatment) on March 28th. Then I start Isolation at home until April 2nd. I have to stay 6 feet away from the kids and pets and hubby at all times. And I have to sleep in the basement away from the kids and pets who are on top level. I can share the shower only and clean it every time I use it. Which is 2 to 3 times a day.
It's a pretty scary thing having your kids around. I will only come up stairs when they are at school or out of the home.
Can not wait for all this to be done. Overall felling not bad. My Sythroid was changed today from 137 to 150mg. My Tsh is 3,53 right now. Still too high. I don't have any appetite since surgery. Wondering if it's from being hypo?

Hi, it's good to see your update! I'm sure you will be fine at home, your family obviously understand what is happening, so i'm sure they will be just as careful as you will be. I know it will be hard not having the contact for a while, but it will soon over. Your loss of appetite, i'm not sure about? This usually happens when someone is HYPER. Make the basement all cosy with cushions and blankets and some flowers, take some music down with you in case you can't sleep. And we are always here to talk to whenever you want... : ))
Hey hon,
Glad to hear you are in good spirits. Gonna be difficult for a bit. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Laurie
Hi there Lynne. Thanks for the update. Difficult for everyone isn't it but its what it is. Good thoughts, and wishes for you and the family. Be well, pledge
Lynne, I don't know you very well and don't understand alot of what you said in your update, but it sounds like you are going through alot. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and I wish you the best at this difficult time. I don't know if this will cheer you up a bit, but I saw a picture on Facebook of a little girl's bare feet in a puddle and you could see rain drops. The caption read,"Forget about waiting for the storm to pass and learn how to dance in the rain!" I know this is easier said than done but I hope some sunshine comes your way soon! Lisa Z.
Dear smileyhapppy,
Just wanted to let you know it was so good to hear from you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hope you will feel as well as you can be. Remember all the people that care about you and love you. Take care hon and keep us updated on everything. God bless. Ruth
Hi L,
I hope the isolation time flies by for you. I'm keeping you in my prayers as well. Chin up!!

Thanks Delila,
Flowers, I love flowers. I have them in my home all the time. Will have to bring a small vase down. Well I don't mind having no appetite right now, because of this Lid diet. Too bad I'm not loosing any weight! How have you been keeping?
