I am an active 72-year-old, I lived a hard life, I was almost crushed to death in 1991. It took me 2 years to walk again. About 15 years ago I had surgery on my right knee to remove a bone spur. That went well. I am a volunteer and lead tour of historic events, so I am on my legs a lot. recently I was walking up some stairs when my right knee collapsed. I went to the orthopedic doctor and he told me I had OA but my right knee was the worse. I have had two injections of Euflexaa and scheduled for the 3rd shot on Feb. 8th. The PA told me not to expect results for 3 to 4 weeks after the 3rd shot. Steroid shots did nothing to help with the pain. I am taking a shotgun approach to my problem hoping for the best. I really don't want to have a knee replacement until it is beyond help.
