A few years ago I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, and my doctor prescribed Raloxifene Hcl (Evista) . I was told I had to discontinue taking Estrogen while taking Raloxifene Hcl. I had previously taken Estrogen pills for several years (after a hysterectomy). I have recently developed a prolapsed bladder. I read an article in WebMD that it is Estrogen which keeps the pelvic floor muscles strong. In the same article it was stated that Estrogen Cream does not get absorbed into the body's system but affects only the area where it is applied, and is sometimes used to strengthen pelvic floor muscles to treat prolapsed bladder. I need to know whether Estrogen Cream may be safely used while taking Raloxifene Hcl.
