... hot flashes 100% worse. Also take celexa, & lisinopril. Have Xanax but haven't been taking due to want be alert after all the trauma. Tried work for awhile had total breakdown, feeling better but hot flashes & when I do sleep night sweats horrible. Any advice?
I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I lost mind 8 years ago due to murder. So I know the grief you're going through. Unfortunately there's not a pill to make menopause any easier on us women. Try taking the zanax at bedtime to help you sleep. My doctor prescribed me something like claritin to take for night sweats. Dang I can't remember what's it's called. She said it would dry up my body so I wouldn't sweat so much. It didn't make sense to me but I took it anyway. Also my doctor informed me not to take any hormone replacement medicine. She said she lost a friend to cancer due to taking that. You're going through a grieving process and that will cause anxiety and insomnia. After both my parents passed away 40 days apart my anxiety was through the roof and my insomnia was at its worst. Oh! Zertec was the the medicine the doctor gave me. Wow I thought I would never remember that. Lol. Also there's vitamins to ease some of the night sweats. Like black kohash I think that how it's spelled and others for anxiety too. I really hope you feel better. Pepper
