I'm 47 and rarely have sex. Have had complete hysterectomy 6 yrs ago. Sex is now VERY painful. I don't want to take estrogen due to high risk for breast cancer. Is this a safe alternative?
You should have had some replacement therapy when you had the hysterectomy. Estrace is estrogen but probably safer then estrogen taken internally. There is osphena that is not estrogen but works for it too. Osphena is significantly more expensive. This is something you need to discuss with your dr.
