Atrophic vaginitis is such a common problem for women, why won't insurance companies consider paying for the laser treatments? Insurance companies quickly paid for Viagra type products, but they won't pay anything for the expensive Laser treatments that have proven results that greatly reduce the pain for the many thousand women who suffer everyday from atrophic vaginitis. I am only 65 and itching, dryness, bleeding are only getting worse, I would love to have this treatment, but it is to expensive. Is there something that we can do to get insurances to pay something for the laser treatments?
It seems the treatments would also stop other medical issues from appearing and hence save the insurance company money.
