Do you mean Esgic Plus? No Esgic Plus is a combination of acetaminophen 500mg, caffeine 40mg, and butalbital 50mg. Soma is carisoprodol which is a muscle relaxant. Esgic Plus has acetaminophen which is a non-opioid analgesic, caffeine is a stimulant (in this case it helps to dilate blood vessels) and butalbital is a very mild barbiturate. Esgic Plus is usually used for tension and sometimes migraine headaches.
