Treat balance problems or dizziness (vertigo). This includes problems of the inner ear such as ‘Meniere’s Syndrome’ or ‘labyrinthitis’.
What is the equivalent for Stemetil 5mg pills in the US?
I dont think they make brand name Compazine anymore but you can get the generic prochlorperazine. You will need a prescription from your Dr for it though. An OTC thought would be meclizine (Antivert) Have you ever tried Meclizine? It is available OTC and it works really well in Meniere's and for vertigo. I take it for motion sickness and it works awesome for that. I have known of patients who take it for Meniere's with very good results. I get mine at Walmart (Rugby is the manufacturer) but you have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter-they dont keep it on the shelf. It comes in 12.5mg and 25 mg if I remember right. I think there is 100 in the 25mg bottle I get and it costs between $5-$10 US dollars.
