Eosinophilic Esophagitis - I have been diagnosed with Achalasia and have noticed some allergic?
Added 16 Mar 2013:
I have a build up of mucous that starts at the base of the oesophagus and causes some swelling near the throat and regurgitation of the contents of the oesophagus.
Your question is from March and it is now November. I used to have lots of foam regurgitate from the lower esophagus. I was found to have a stricture in the lower esophagus, and an inflamed bump, as well as eosinophilic esophagitis. I now take oxycodone for chronic ee pain and back pain. I take diphenhydramine if the ee pain goes to an extreme level which was seeming to cause fibromyalgia via the flood of eosinophtiles in my body. The myalagia/ myositis seems to be gone. The regurgitation is way less, and the foam problem seems long gone.
