Clearly something isn't right; blood clots in your lungs are considered universally bad. This medication is prescribed for clots from a deep vein thrombosis that may travel to your lungs. Given that if those clots migrate to your heart it could well be your last day alive. I think another anti-coagulant is in order or an increased dose. I would urge you to talk to the doctor or a clinical nurse at the cancer center for far better advice than I can offer.
