I had the endoscopy three weeks ago just confirming Gerd and hiatal hernia. Why am I having back and stomach cramps after peocedure. Relieved when going to bathroom. Biopsy was neg from endoscopy. Doc keeps advising it no thing
Maybe a change in diet, hydration and mild exercise is due, or, possibly a change in Doctor. "it's nothing?" Hmmm. Anyway, since you did some testing and it is relieved by excretion, I would have you document what you've been eating. Once you have a 7-day log (no pun intended) get on the net and research the foods you intake and see if there are allergies or digestive problems associated with them. Hope it clears up, keep me posted. Hope this helps.
I'm wondering why, if your bowels are an issue, you would have an endoscopy that looks at the upper gastro intestinal tract; esophagus, stomach (and I'm not sure if they can access the upper small intestine). Surely for a bowel issue a colonoscopy would be in order?
Obviously your Doctor knows your symptomology far better than I ever can so I have to assume all of the above was considered.
