Puckiemull, this is really a question you should ask your surgeon about. Call them on the telephone and let them know you have questions and tell them you are unable to come in for an appt right now due to a conflicting schedule and ask if someone can call you. You may not get to talk directly to the surgeon but they may let you talk to a nurse practitioner. Many OB-GYN offices have nurse practitioners or physicians assisstants who are qualified to answer these kinds of questions. You dont always need an appt to ask a question-get on the phone and ask it! Even if there is no PA or nurse practitioner, someone will talk to you, relay to the doc and get back to you. Dont be so shy to call him and ask him these questions that come up!
I have to agree with Dzoo Baby. You need to call the gynecologist or surgeon and ask them what to do. Don't be bashful about it, demand attention. You deserve answers just as much as the next guy so don't back down.
In the meantime, use protection of some kind so you don't get preggy. You don't need that right now and accidents can happen.
I'm praying for ya girl.
