My pharmacy keeps telling me there is a shortage of Endocet. I am wondering what is going on. Is there a shortage or are they just trying to not supply it.
The DEA is limiting how much opioids can be ordered and dispensed at individual pharmacies. Pharmacies that reach their limit have to wait until they can order more. This causes pharmacies that dispense hihger levels of opioids to fall short and be unable to fill their customers orders. They wont tell you that though. My old pharmacy was right next to a very large pain practice and they became so limited that they went out of business-it was a small mom and pop type pharmacy-not a large chain.
My pharmacy told me tht also in fact walmart has there own warehouse and thy are out.my last visit to my doctor he told me tht id have to go down to viccoton are go to pain management cause they are comming dwn reg md s so i just wonder if thts why thy are doing this.i cant gt a direct answer from any pharmacy except thy cant gt any till march. Thy know we need our med maybe thts why thy ate trying to push us to gt something lower cause thy have plenty of the others and was told i need to have my dr write me a lower prescription.
