I was on Enbrel since it came out. It works. You don't ever know you have RA. I have reverted to the point that I can not walk without constant cortizone injections. Could probiotics help or would they counteract the effects of enbrel since it alters the immune system? Is there a period of time that it takes to have your immune system repair itself. I have not had infections since I quit taking enbrel. I want it back. Would a half dose help?
Please discuss with your doctor. You need to weigh up the risk verses benefits. If the infections you were having were severe then perhaps consider another medicine. If they were minor infections and easily dealth with antibiotics then by all means go back on Enbrel, since it did seem to improve your life so much. All the best.
