Is there a super special Rheumatology clinic in the US?
I haven't used Acterma and there are no reviews on this website so can't really comment.
Your rheumatologist is the best person to talk to or contact the Arthritis Foundation, they may be able to help you with more information.
Please see link below for more information about treatment, etc. for rheumatoid arthritis.
I just had my 6th treatment and talk about a "new lease on life"! Like you I had been on everything out there with no success. I didn't start to feel better til after my 3rd treatment. I do find that about one week prior to my next treatment I am extremely tired. I don't need to look at the calendar to know my next treatment is due! I'm sure by now you've started this and would be curious to hear how you are doing. Just sit back and close your eyes for approximately one hour.
I have been on that actemra for 2 years and I've had good results with that but I have not tried any of the other drugs I was put on actemra because I have giant cell arteritis and it was found to work well on this. At the time I started taking actemra I was on 60 mg of prednisone a day after starting and being on actemra for 2 years I am on 8 mg of prednisone
