... four months ago. I think I'm pregnant now but I'm really scared to go to the doctor... I know I need to soon but what is the likelihood that everything is ok with the baby? I'm not having any of the same symptoms I had with the ectopic but the whole situation has me permanently concerned for all future offspring I may have
Been there myself hon. I had another child after I had the ectopic. You know the symptoms well for an ectopic that you won't ever forget. Have you done a test yet? If you don't have any of those symptoms, I wouldn't worry. If you test positive, I'd see my gyne and not be worried it was an ectopic again. It took me somewhat longer to get pregnant then that, but then I was only functioning with one fallopian tube after the ectopic.
Try not to worry! I had an ectopic pregnancy and the tube broke and I only have one now! The Gynecologist that did the surgery told me that as long as he did not have to do a DNC my body would think it is still pregnant and I could get pregnant quickly. He also mentioned that with one fallopian tube I could get pregnant just as fast because when the egg is released from one ovary or the other it just can go in any tube so my chances were good and I got pregnant very quickly! So try to not worry I know it was a scary experience having the ectopic! Just go see your doctor and you will be monitored very well with this pregnancy if your'e pregnant! And if you are well congratulations and enjoy your baby! By the way I had 2 children after my ectopic, one at 36 and one at 38.
