You need to let your prescribing physician know that you have not been able to fill your medication yet. What does CVS say? Are they having trouble getting it ordered in? If they cannot get it, your physician may have to prescribe something different or you could try a different pharmacy. If you are under contract to use just one pharmacy, usually if you let your pain doc know that the pharmacy was unable to fill and you are going to try "X" pharmacy, they will be okay with it as long as you let them know you are going to try a different pharmacy and for what reason.
