I am in pain management I have had three surgeries in the last eight months one was a hip replacement and two back surgeries I am on 50.2 embeda and 50 mg of tramadol four times daily
Hi, this is what Drugs.com says: "Ask your doctor before using morphine (a component of Embeda) and traMADol together. Using these medications together can increase your risk of seizures, breathing problems, and other side effects. If your doctor prescribes these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely take both medications. Tell your doctor if you have weak or shallow breathing, tremors, restlessness, seizures, or problems with speech, balance, or walking. Avoid driving until you know how the medications will affect you". Also, the Naltrexone (the other component of Embeda) will cause the Tramadol not to be as effective as it is an opiate blocker, Tramadol is a synthetic opiate. A strange combination of medications in my opinion?
