I've been taking lamictal and Effexor for 6 years and my insurance isn't going threw and I haven't takin it in 4 days should I just keep cold turkeying it? The Effexor is 75 mg and lamictal is 150 mg... I feel very crummy
I would continue to try and get the insurance company to cooperate. Even if you have to continue cold turkey until the do, you may find that you need these medications once the withdrawal-like symptoms subside.
It is dangerous to just stop them. Have you called the customer service for your insurance to see what's going on? You can buy just a few days at a time until you get them to cooperate.
This is a bit late but I hope you have found an answer. I am tapering off of
Effexor 37.5 every other day now and it is not easy. I am taking 100 of
lamictal. How are you doing?
