I have been on Zoloft (200 mg) for 10 years. A doctor wants to increase my med's to 300 mg a day. What are the effects if I do so? I am a little leery of taking such a high dose. What would be the side effects?
The maximum recommended dose for Zoloft is 200mg/day. I can't really comment on using 300mg per day. Maybe the doctor knows better.
Hello BigNeil. To add my thoughts that any side effects currently that you might be experiencing (if any) will very likely be intensified. Regards pledge
Allot of times when they give a max dose its because besides the side effects being worse, more just wouldn't help any better.
