im on the highest dose of depakote... its not really effective... does anyone know in the UK what would be better
All medications work differently for each person so there really is no *better* drug, but there are options you can try. Lamictal (lamotrigine) and lithium (lithium carbonate) work well for many people.
As lady says too, many people will benefit from adding an antidepressant and/or anti-psychotic.
