What i've learned about your ? is... It isn't traditionally used w/ infants B/C concerns of adverse effects on infants' developing joints! Although recent studies show little risk. The Calcium in milk might prevent Absorbtion of the small amounts of "FLUOROQUINOLONES" in the milk, but insufficient data exist to prove or Disprove this assertion. Short-term use of Moxifloxicin is acceptable in nursing moms. HOWEVER: They prefer you use an ~Alternative Drug~ for better safety&better INFO, that is available! There are eye drops as well, that can have the same problems. So in fact yes, some of this drug is excreted to your precious"LIL'ONE". It can as well be passed to a fetus in the womb. ~ALTERNATIVE DRUGS~ that may be a little safer, with better results & better info are... *LEVOFLOXICIN*~ *NITROFURANTOIN*~ *NORFLOXACIN*~ And~ *TRIMETHOPRIM*. I hope this bit of information was helpful! Good Luck. :)
