I had sex with a condom this time with my boyfriend while his parents weren't home, and they came home while it was happening. I got out of the house without them seeing me, but my boyfriend said he felt like the condom broke. We rushed when his parents came home so he was putting clothes on and left the condom on, so he thinks it might've broke then. But he felt like towards the end of us having sex it started feeling "better" cause he felt like the condom broke. It wasn't an expired condom, and it was put on correctly. Is there a bigger possibility of it being broken during sex or when he was rushing to put clothes on and wearing it with pants on for awhile?
Condoms may rip during use if they don't fit properly or if they are not put on correctly (such as not leaving enough room at the tip of the condom). They also can tear if there is too much friction and not enough lubrication, or if the condom comes into contact with a person's nails, rings, piercings, teeth, or other sharp edges.
