Why am i in so much pain? The pain is so umbearable that i cannot get up, but i do. The pain is umbearable, im always tired, and i keep passing blood clots. Is that normal? The doctor gave me percocets first, then naproxen and something else. Neither one is working for me. What can i do now? Where do i go from here?
I've had painful periods for 29 years now, since my daughter was born. GYN docs put me on hormone therapy to stop my periods and it just made the pain be constant. I take evening primrose oil and Ginko biloba and Vit E with Selenium and they help some. I am a chronic pain patient on prescribed opiates and they don't help much. For a time the pain got much worse until a physical therapist figured out that my hip was rotating out of alignment. I still have painful periods but nothing as bad as they were back then. A physical therapist or chiropractor can determine if you are aligned properly. Also, check your medications - some, especially anti-depressants, list dysmenorrhea as a side effect. Wish I could help you more - let me know if you find the cure! My situation is getting better as I near menopause, as my periods are far apart. Praise God! Take care - ElizaJane
