So took my first tablet today and 4 hours later I am camped out as close to the bathroom as possible. Horrible stomach ache, diarrhoea and feeling of nausea. Is this normal for one dose? I'm taking 60mg.
Some people will experience this type of side effects when first starting an antidepressant/anxiolytic. Are you taking it for depression or ? 60mg may be a little too high of a dose for you to begin with. If your symptoms persist or become more severe in the next day or two you should probably talk to your doctor about possibly reducing your dosage temporarily so that your metabolism can adjust more smoothly. Also, your doctor or pharmacist can suggest remedies to control the side effects... many are OTC.
Best regards and I hope you feel better quickly.
