I am taking amlodipine carvedilol glipizide lisinopril omeprazole simvastatin probenicid hytrin plaquenil and low dose aspirin
You left out something that can seriously effect your renal values, diabetes. Carvedilol and lisinopril can have a mild effect in a small amt of people, omeprazole can raise your serum creatinine, probenacid can cause kidney stones and the possibility of kidney failure. Simvastatin can cause acute renal failure associated with rhabdomyolosis. Forgot, the others don't effect your kidneys.
I would assume your doctor assess the risk and determined that it was better for you to take those drugs then to not. If you believe otherwise seek a second opinion don't stop taking your drugs . the other member was right , but a lot of it has to do with dose amount in relation to side effects.
