Vabomere contains meropenem, an antibacterial agent, and vaborbactam, which inhibits certain types of resistance mechanisms used by bacteria. Vabomere is approved for adults with complicated urinary tract infections (cUTI), including a type of kidney infection, pyelonephritis, caused by specific bacteria.
