Now wondering how Dr tells if this flu has graduated to infection..plugs were tan yesterday & today yellow. The cough caused by the plugs in lungs .. automatically cough in order to bring them up. My normal temp is around 97 area...now am again at nearly 100. Children taking us on cruise for Christmas & must be well by then. Last amoxicillian I took for tooth ache 1 year ago caused 12 hours of vomiting after only 1 pill!! Allso had pain in back.. so Dr sent me to ER... found cracked vertebrae & filled w/concrete. Maybe the back thing caused vomiting. Probably can't get to Dr right away so maybe urgent care tomorrow. Hate to take antibiotic's unless absolutely necessary. Am 74 years!
The previous prednisone"s I have been on by two different Dr...one called prednisone(DELTAsone) the other hydrocortisone (Cortef) each 5mg.
