full price of the medication puts you in hole fast.
Because that's part of the medicare regs for part D. The infamous donut hole. It is closing and according to the new healthcare act it is supposed to be closed by 2020, if we live that long. When I saw that one of meds had increased in price, and was pushing me over fast, I went to my dr and said I wanted to change to a cheaper medication. I take all generics so that I could get a cheaper plan, but even then I had one that skyrocketed from 75 a month a 250 a month, that wasn't happening to my way of thinking and I got off that med.
