I have had 2 positive ana test and diagnosed with fibromyalgia and possibly lupus.
I had a similar reaction with I attributed to Lyrica. I went thru dry mouth, sensitivity, then my mouth, probably mostly my toungue became so sensitive- ketchup was way too spicy for me to handle!!! I stayed on the Lyrica, still on it as it helped me so much in other ways. Not sure if it was the cause. Never had the experience again. It probably lasted from start of weird mouth symptoms from start to finish 6-8 months (with the super sensitivity of my toungue only about a month). My dentist also thought it was med related & additionally found that I had lost enamel & some of the bone at the root level. They have had me on rx toothpaste & told me to use ACT mouthwash as it has the most fluoride & no harsh alcohol (like Listerine does). So, I'm curious to know if you are on Lyrica & what does ana test mean? My doctors have been investigating rheumatological issues with me & I return to my doc in a week or so. I hope this helps & I hope your mouth feels better!
