I have searched & called to the point I'm worn out. I cannot find one (1) that will assist with my pain meds. There just has to be... anyone know of any?
You can try these-Suddenly Senior suddenlysenior.com/patientassistantprograms.html; or Needy Meds needymeds.org; and Partnership for Prescription Assistance 1-888-477-2669 or pparx.org, freemedicine.com The CoPay Relief Program 1-866-512-3861 or copay.org; or access2wellness.com
Have you googled your pain med? There are some discounts and coupons online, or checked the manufacturers web site?
Google (your state)/prescription drug assistance for example for California: CA/prescription drug assistance. many states have a discount card that you can get for free that will give you a discount at pretty much any pharmacy in the state if you are a cash pay patent. Most of them wont help with insurance copays however. Be sure to check with your drugs manufacturer as many of them offer discounts and even so much off your copay amount if you have insurance-you have to read the fine print on them because some only work for commercial insurance and not state assistance or medicare. Sometimes the discount coupon has to be given to you by your doctor so be sure to ask him to check with the drug manufacturer to see if there are any discounts. What medications are you on and I can look to see if there is patient assistance for them and tell me if you have insurance or not and if you do is it a state program like Medicaid or is it commercial insurance, Medicare/Medicare Advantage or what?
