insurance will not cover a replacement. what can I do?
There are coupons online if you google it, but its still costly. I would ask to talk to someone in the insurance who can do something besides spout what they see on a computer screen. I find it unreal that insurances don't realize you can drop medicine sometimes and they should have it paid for, not if you do it once a month, but once in a great while they should pay. You could get your dr to order a different kind, there are some that are very similar. That should be paid for. You can get your humalog again when its time and go back to that.
Ask your doctor to give you a prescription for a humalog kwik pen, as this is different than the bottle the company may honor it. Lot less hassle with a pen any way. Cost is about the same
