Drinking is contraindicated because it can increase the symptoms for which you are taking this med, depression and anxiety. Alcohol while when first imbibed seems to reduce these symptoms, in the long run it causes an increase. Choice is yours. Only you know what your drinking habits are and how severe your symptoms may be.
Hi, it will affect the efficacy of the medication. Antidepressants don't work properly when mixed with alcohol, and drinking will cause worsening of your depression
