... to me does anyone else have both or know of on that works if u take adderal as well?
Hi, I know a few people who take adderal 30mg and take a antidepressant, and it works great for them, you should go see a different doc just make sure you tell him or her your health history and all the meds you are on and go from there, I have taken both a few years ago and I had no adverse reaction. But only your doc will know what's best for you. Best wishes and I hope this helps
Everyone's different, but I think you doc is quite cautious. I have major depression AND A.D.D (plus a few learning disabilities) and take Wellbutrin and Adderall together-- I was already on Wellbutrin and was prescribed 5 mg. of Adderall, which is a very low dose (the max dosage being 40 mg.). I would wonder what your doc's reasoning is, if you could ask in a non-confrontational way... Would it be possible to see a psychiatrist who specialise in ADD b/c they often have a more in depth understanding of everything that goes along with it?
Take care, Ade

Perhaps your doctor is trying to get you out of depression naturally, which can be done in some people. Studies have found that people who take antidepressants v people who exercise and have talk therapy once a week do the same when it comes to depression. Some people really don't need medications, and with all that I am learning about Big Pharma lately, and the interactions between medications, I would rather try natural, before "a cocktail" of pharmaceuticals which have worse side effects than people realize. I know that some people have horrendous depression, and need medication, BUT why not go natural to try first before you get hooked on another med?? Also there are natural plants such as SamE, or St. John's Wort, which also work well on depression, but since doctors don't get 'educated' by pharmaceutical companies on these herbs, they are in the dark about natural remedies. Just my two cents worth.
Best of luck to you!!
