Im currently taking Opana ER 15mg 3x a day with oxycodone 10mg 4x a day. My dr just switched my opana to exalgo er 16mg 1x a day plus my usual oxycodone. Is this going to be a big difference or will it be the same? Not quite sure what the difference is. She also mentioned oxycontin... but i dont know which would work better. Please... if you can help all advise is appreciated..thanks
Hey, the main reason is that the FDA, order Endo to stop making Opana Er, due to the opioid crisis going on. That the abusers are still crushing the Opana taking it thru different means.
I have been on Opana Er 40mg , for at least 8+ years. Also, on Ms bt. My pharmacist was able to order me Opana Er, she was lucky to get 2 bottles for me. So, I have enough until I go back to see my Dr at the end of Sept. Already, spoken with my Dr., he may get me in sooner so that adjust me to new meds. He say don't know how my body would adjust to the new med, don't want me to have any side affects from either meds.
To me, if the cops, Da's & judges do their job sent them to jail/prison so they can really get clean. Then, made sure they see probation officer get drug tested, if they slip up back to prison. All, they doing is getting slap on the hands don't do it again. If do go to rehab, but rehab 50% go back doing drugs. So, if they made the laws tougher, add prison time to the offenses it may do some good. Just a thought.
Please, let me know how Exalgo Er, doing for you.
