Cymbalta is an excellent antidepressant for some people. It addresses two neurotransmitters, serotonin and norepinephrine, in the brain rather than just one like the Brintellex. Give it time, upwards of a month to work, and don't be surprised if the dosage has to be increased to average therapeutic level of 60mgs. You may experience some mild side effects such as headache and nausea in the beginning, but these usually subside within the first week or two. Once you are through the adjustment period I think you'll find it very helpful. I took it for years with great success though we are all different.
