I am on day 3 of mitrazipine 15 mg slept well day 1 and 2 and felt a lift on day three not much sleep at all just drowsy all night am seeing doc on the 10th April for update .any help would be grateful.
Good that you are going to talk to your doctor. I have been on Remeron (brand name) for about 7 yrs and it has really helped me. On 30mg so I take at bed time b/c it makes me drowsy. Have had no side effects I can blame on it as I take a lot of other meds too.
Best wishes. Let us know what you decide to do and how you feel in a few weeks. I hope you do very good, ChelleKay
Yes, Mariedawn this seems like a reasonable change. With the generic Remeron tablet, it should help you get some rest and also help with the depression during the day. And as they say, baby steps until you get it in your system say about 3 to 4 weeks. And from what I have seen more people do better on the mirtazapine then the Escitalopram plus you well be seeing the doctor in 10 days to go over your meds and your condition. so give it a o=g==good try. Have a good day. Chuck1957
