My Dr changed my medication from lortab 7.5-500 to norco7.5-325. What's the difference?

The only difference is that there is less tylenol in the 7.5/325. As of january first all meds that have tylenol as a combo can only have 325mg per pills. The FDA passed this regulation because of the liver damage found with long term high dose tylenol.

Thank you for the answer. How would I know if the Tylenol has caused liver damage.

It would show when your dr does blood tests.

Not much, the opioid component, hydrocodone, is exactly the same, it is just reduced acetaminophen (otherwise known as Tylenol) Too much acetaminophen is bad for your liver.

There is not much difference between Lortab 7.5/500 vs. Norco 7.5/325, in my opinion. The Norco has a bit more Acetaminophen in it. As for the amount of Hydrocodone, it's the same. free discount card
