Hello. I have a doctors appointment and when I look up my appointment it states the reason for the appointment is BOV//SRB. Does anyone know what this means? I've checked online but can't find anything.
I am totally guessing BOV could mean "basic office visit" or "billable office visit" or something along this line. It is probably just acronyms used within the office for setting up appointments. Perhaps they have different allotments for time depending on the reason for visit. It isnt anything for you to be concerned about. You can always ask the receptionist what it means. Different offices use many different acronyms.
