Doxy can work on a staph infection
It depends on the location but you need to be showering at least twice a day if you have an infection on your skin use antibacterial soap and use a new towel every time and bleach them and anything else that touches a wound
I often tell my patients to use a scrub brush
Wear gloves very time you come into contact with that skin
Change your sheets every other day.
Hope this helps

Doxycycline may work but there are other better antibiotics that can be used to treat staph infections.
