I'm restarting zoloft (I was on it when I was first diagnosed with depression at age 16, I'm now 34 and took this med for years and it worked well). I hope it will work again since it's been years and years since I last took it. What dosage works for you? I'm starting at 50mg and will work up to 200mg. The last time I was on it I was at 150mg.
I'm not sure about the dosage for everyone. I have been on 25mg since Febr and have had some family issues since then. I, also, take 0.25mg xanax as needed. So far, I am ok, but, I know eventually I will have to up the dosage. I hope you find the right dosage for you. I know it takes time. God bless.
Hello lennongurl.Doses vary from one individual to another. People treated with OCD use a more higher dose of Zoloft. People with anxiety issues use a more lower dose of the drug. In regards to depression, the daily maintenace dose can vary from 150 to 250mg as high as 300mg. Regards pledge
