i have started 2 days ago with one a day 425mg is this enough for depression
*Clinical trials evaluating the efficacy of St. John's wort in depression have commonly used 900 mg of extract daily in 3 divided doses, both in short-term treatment and for ongoing therapy, for periods of up to 1 year (range, 600 to 1,200 mg/day).*
Please also read Interactions and Adverse Reactions, okay?
Best wishes and good luck! Wildcat
All you can really go by is what the instruction on the package says. Or look it up on the internet. No one really knows what the correct dosage is since it is an herbal supplement and not approved by the FDA. You can only go by how you feel and if it causes you any unwanted side effects. I know it has worked for others, but may not be a long term solution.
Hope it works for you :)
