The reason it is coated is because it tastes raunchy. It will probably upset your stomach too. The coating also delays the absorbtion somewhat. It comes in liquid form. Talk to your pharmacist before you do anything with it. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids to protect your kidneys, and take all the pills that were prescribed, even if you feel better.
